Discovery
What is this feature? What are we trying to achieve with this feature?
This feature is a promotional screen for an app.
What problem are we trying to address?
Attract the user, convert the user, and engage the user in the experience that the app offers.
What do we want to include in the message?
How the experience starts: by choosing a sport and team
What the app does: game reminder, real-time score updates and highlight videos
Give the user a way to start engaging with the app
Building the flow
What’s the required sequence of information on the screen? Why? The user could get the promotional screen as an ad on a sports website, a newspaper, while watching a video, and so on.
What does the headline do? Acts as a hook to grab the user's attention
What does the body do? Provides info about what the app does
What happens when the user clicks on the button? Enters the app onboarding experience
If we use a text message to inform, where should we redirect the user to? Direct the user to download the app from the AppStore or Google Playstore.
