Technology/ Language trainer

British Council

At the British council, I spearheaded a technical training programme. I led and trained a team of enthusiastic teachers to introduce mobile and tablet-based blended learning activities. How did this help, I hear you ask? I turned our teachers into tech savvy ninjas who started digitising their class. I turned our students into keen learners who could practise and stay engaged with their school at every step along the way.

Happy World πŸ‘©β€πŸ«s day at the British Council,VN

I also taught, and created English as a Foreign Language courses for the little ones, the cool teens, and the office going adults alike. My most favourite part of the job was turning complex, authentic material into logically sequenced lessons - PRESENT, PRACTICE, PRODUCE.

My work at the British Council was one of the most fulfilling of my career. It brought me to two countries(Vietnam πŸ‡»πŸ‡³ and Oman πŸ‡΄πŸ‡² ), helped me meet the most wonderful students from around the world and made me a linguaphile of sorts. Pssst...Ask me to explain the difference between present perfect and past simple and watch me get all giddied up.
